Santiago Ojeda-Ramirez
I’m Santiago Ojeda-Ramirez, a researcher, educator, and designer exploring the intersections of AI, speculative design, and interdisciplinary STEM and arts (STEAM) education. My work focuses on how young people engage with AI—not just as users but as creators—designing technologies that reflect their communities, identities, and futures. I take an interdisciplinary approach, blending biodesign, critical and speculative design, and participatory research to rethink how we teach and learn with AI. Right now, I’m a Ph.D. candidate studying futurism as a space for critical AI literacies in high school settings.
